The healthcare system is built around treating cancer. It is not built around living after it. Oncologists move to the next patient. Primary care physicians don't have the training or the time. And survivors are left managing fatigue, anxiety, late effects, follow-up labs, and fear of recurrence — largely alone.
We built Onward Health because we watched that happen to patients for decades. And because one of our founders lived it herself.

She has led brand transformations, navigated M&A integrations exceeding $30 billion in value, and built global teams from the ground up.
Her work sits at the intersection of strategy and story, translating what's clinically and scientifically true into narratives that drive market leadership.
She co-founded Onward Health because cancer has touched the people she loves most, and because she believes no one should have to navigate what comes after treatment alone.
Dr. Tanya Haber
Founding PhysicianTanya leads the Onward Health practice in Winter Park. She is a board-certified Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine specializing in internal medicine, with deep clinical focus on survivorship care. She is also a cancer survivor.
Tanya brings to every patient visit what no protocol can replicate: the knowledge of what it feels like to sit in that chair. She understands the complexity of life after treatment — not just clinically, but personally. Her practice is built on time, presence, and the kind of care that remembers who you are between appointments.

Standard primary care gives physicians 15 minutes per patient and panels of 2,000 or more. That model cannot serve cancer survivors. It was not designed to.
